Walk through our doors and you will never be alone. SAFE Coalition is a Franklin-based nonprofit helping to educate and support those impacted by substance use disorder and mental health concerns. We work with neighbors, local businesses, and schools across southeastern Massachusetts to conceive, develop, and deliver our programming. Our approach is both responsive and preventative. By creating opportunities for group-building, peer-to-peer engagement, and education, we reduce the risk of mental illness and substance use within our community. Staffed by trusted and trained professionals and volunteers, SAFE’s support groups, mediation, counseling services, and peer programs build networks of care and foster whole-person healing.

It was fantastic to do something for the community this past weekend, collaborating with the Safe Coalition for drug take back. We partnered with local police to safely dispose of unused home medication. It was a great event having fun with co-workers and giving back! #lifeatinteractions #safecoalition

“According to a five-year evaluation of the handbook by Turrisi, Penn State graduate student Shannon Glenn, and their team, supported by funding from the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, when parents utilized the Power of Parents Handbook strategies, their teens declined more rides from a driver that consumed alcohol or any drug other than alcohol, and they were less likely to drive impaired.” https://lnkd.in/eNK5gCjM
